Rondevlei has been drained in preparation for burning the reeds. So there is not a lot of water around. We got some good pictures though.

Yellow billed duck gif
I photographed this yellow billed duck on motor drive which gave me five images seconds apart, so I turned the five images into an animated gif and it came out quite nicely.
This picture taken at Riviersonderend. The bird is a common fiscal and has a tiny insect in its claws.
